Colombian Sociologist and University Professor Rafaela Vos has written over 40 articles and several books advocating for women's rights in Latin America. She sees re-education as the key to ending violence against women, and the cornerstone to creating a more peaceful, just and sustainable world. She was nominated for the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize as part of the 1000 Women for the Nobel Peace Prize project.
